Flowing Water Sleeves, The Beauty of Heritage – Our School’s Cantonese Opera Cultural Experience Event is a Success!
Flowing Water Sleeves, The Beauty of Heritage On July 9–10, our school successfully hosted a vibrant Cantonese Opera Experience Workshop, bringing traditional Chinese culture to life on campus. During the two-day event, students eagerly explored the art's four major role types and practiced traditional hand gestures and stage-walking. The highlight was the hands-on participation—most student had the chance to try on exquisite costumes, play traditional percussion instruments, and mimic stage movements. Through this joyful, experiential learning, students did not just learn the etiquette and aesthetics of the stage; they truly connected with the elegance, discipline, and spirit of Chinese heritage. We hope this event has planted the seeds of lifelong appreciation for the traditional arts and strengthened our students' sense of cultural pride.
