The Education Bureau, Hong Kong Education City, and Committee on Home-School Co-operation will co-organise the “Embracing the e+ Internet Generation Parent Seminar (5): Unlocking E-Book Treasures × Navigating Online Friendships with Caution”. The seminar will be held on 7 Jun 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm in webinar mode. Cantonese and English sessions will be arranged. Registration is now open (application deadline: 6 Jun 2025 5:00 pm). An librarian from the Hong Kong Central Library will share practical strategies for parents to effectively utilise the library's e-resources, foster parent-child reading habits, and expand knowledge horizons with children. Registered social workers from Hong Kong Playground Association will analyse authentic cases to help parents understand potential risks in their children’s online friendships, along with preventive measures and response strategies.
